Even though I am a huge fan of Soy yogurt, it is not available in every country. The discovery of tofugurt has been exceptional, since this has been a quick fix for those days, that you want a creamier almost yogurt like bowl, without the yogurt making process. This easy recipe has filled my mornings with joy, and nutritionally speaking it is definitely a very complete breakfast, without over doing fruits as in a smoothie Bowl. I would like to add that this is recipe is mucho more healthier than some vegan yogurts out there.
I should definitely mention that this is one of the most versatile breakfast you could ever make so don’t be afraid to get creative with different flavors, trust me I have tried them all: banana, strawberry, berries, Chocolate peanut butter, apple cinnamon, and they are all worth trying.
300gr of Silken Tofu ( It’s important that is silken Tofu, otherwise you won’t reach the consistency)
Toppings: Almond or Peanut Butter, Fresh fruit, Granola, Oats,
Theres is really not much of a recipe to this
Blend all of the ingredients in the mixer, pause a few times to scrape down the sides.
Now it’s time for the toppings
For a complete breakfast include a fat source such as nut or nut butters. For your Complex carbs you could add some oats, or oil-free granola, or even crash a rice cake on top.
Frozen Fruit work perfectly as well, just make sure you have a high speed blender
